Q1. Introduce yourself in a few words & since when were you interested in photography?
A: «Artist to the tip of my toes, I wouldn't describe myself otherwise. Anything visual and creative, artistic direction and visual balance is my thing! Graphic designer, photographer and definitely enterprising in all my ideas.»
Q2. What makes you passionate about photography?
A: «Create a vision, capture a moment, model a feeling or emotion in a combination of colors, play of light, etc... It's about creating or capturing an essence, a universe that doesn't belong to time. It's timeless, it defies the laws of time... there's something very special for me about it.»
Q3. Your fetish camera, the one you can't do without?
A: «My Canon 5D and my favorite lens, I would also say a fixed one, an 80, 1.2 is ideal. I always drag 3 lenses minimum, it's heavy, but the right tool helps !!!»
Q4. How would you describe your style of photography (your aesthetics, your signature, etc.)?
A: «I would say very "clean". In other words; simple, elegant and pure.»
Q5. What are your greatest sources of inspiration? (architecture, books, Instagram account, photographers, etc.).
A: «Phew.... I have far too long a list of names and movements or designers to list, but honestly, I grew up in magazines and collected Architectural Digest, fashion editions of Vogues British and Vogues Australia or Martha Stewart's magazines (haha) where maybe my DIY side comes from! And this since I was very young, it gave me so much visual baggage even before Pinterest or Instagram was born.»
Q6. What does your Self-Care routine look like?
A: «My routine is varied, but for me, taking time to do my housework, my exercise, organizing myself in my environment and in my head is a self-care routine. My mother always told me; your environment is a reflection of your mental state. I really think that my mind has to feel minimalist also to create better. I'm not the day spa type... I like to get massages, but don't ask me to relax on a rope chair hanging from the ceiling, I'll find the time too long. My way of meditating is by moving and the more I do the better I feel.»
Q7. Your top 3 places that makes you dream :
A: «The @palazzo.daniele, a boutique hotel in Puglia, London; my favorite city! Then any antique and thrift store where I love to find my deco and/or vintage treasures.»
Q8. Your GO-TO jeans (Skinny jeans , Girlfriend Jeans, Wide Jeans, etc.)
A: «Definitely an 80's classic high waist. So, jeans with a Vintage style. I'm very 80's in everything I love.»
Q9. Which women inspires you?
A: «Christie Turlington, Diana Spencer (Lady Di), and all powerful women who are equally talented, passionate and self-taught.»
Q10. In closing, if you had to describe Yoga Jeans in three words, you would say:
A: «Quality, comfort, style.»
